  25. Thanks -- but that just ain't my role.  Everything I know on the subject
  26. has been posted already in this thread.  I would conclude from Chuck's
  27. remark that his Professional YAM product "can be called from other
  28. programs in either dial-in or dial-out applications" that, in UNIX at
  29. least, it should work with C-Kermit, but I can't swear to it.

  31. As far as C-Kermit itself is concerned, it is even more capable than before
  32. of running other programs as external protocols if their standard input and
  33. output can be redirected.  See the C-Kermit 6.0.192 beta, announced here
  34. recently, and its new SET PROTOCOL command.  Nobody has yet reported testing
  35. it with Professional YAM, so I'm sure that would be a valuable contribution.
